A good rule of thumb is to apply 1 degree of draft per 1 inch of cavity depth, but that still may not be sufficient depending on the material selected and the mold's capabilities. Protolabs uses CNC milling to manufacture the majority of the features in the mold. The result of our manufacturing process drives a unique wall thickness and draft angle based on the end mill that we are using for each feature. This is where our design for manufacturability (DFM) analysis becomes particularly helpful as our software looks at each part feature separately and compares it to our toolset. The design analysis highlights the part geometry where increased draft and thickness may be required. However, this new virtual experience does not replace the hands-on experience that we want our students to have in a mold design class.

An Unparalleled Dining Experience

The prime rib is still the draw here, though the outrageously neon interior is its own reason to go. "We don’t advertise catering much 'cause we don’t have the room to do it," he said. "When we get a lot of catering orders, we have to close just so we can get them done, and it’s not fair for our regulars and those who want to come by and eat."

For those intimidated by that massive size, there’s the crostata alla Fiorentina, a prime dry-aged, bone-in New York steak that registers only 36 ounces. Spacca is an intimate space for those going all-out on the meats.

Head to the top floor of Eataly in Century City Terra and take a moment to observe the sprawling views with a whiff of smoky flavors emanating from the grill. Always take recommendations from Terra’s seasoned staff, but it’s best to start with burrata, grilled bread, and salads before moving on to grilled fish and meat skewers.

Since then, Stefanik has led the charge among Republicans, pushing for the resignation of the university leaders.

That prompted Democratic leadership to attempt to keep attacks from becoming personal. Over the weekend, 37 liberals voted against sending $14 billion in aid to Israel over concerns that humanitarian aid would not reach Gaza, joining 21 Republicans who did not support the measure over spending concerns. In other words, the Republican firebrands, who think the worst sin imaginable is to work with Democrats, voted with Democrats to oust their leader. This resulted in a series of ballots over three days before House Majority Leader Nicholas Longworth (R-Ohio) held an emergency meeting with those opposing. Their concern, similar to those issued against McCarthy, was over a series of rule changes that they believed deserved a fair hearing. Longworth obliged, and the next day Gillett garnered the 215 votes he needed to remain speaker.

But this time around several Democrats have indicated they would cross the aisle to support Johnson and frustrate Greene & Co. if it came to a vote.
